Attorney La'Porscha Smalls is a proud native of Savannah, Georgia. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in English from the University of South Carolina Upstate, a Juris Doctorate from Atlanta's John Marshall Law School, and a Master's Certification in Entertainment Law and Industry from University of Southern California Gould School of Law. Each degree was earned graduating in the top 10% of her class.
Attorney Smalls has gained a stellar reputation of being a skilled, prepared, and convincing trial attorney in both criminal law as a former felony prosecutor and in civil law previously working as a top trial attorney for one of the biggest insurance companies in the country.
Criminal Law
Since obtaining her law degree, Attorney Smalls started out as an Assistant District Attorney for two of the most renowned counties where she prosecuted several major felony crimes including murder, rape, armed robbery, kidnapping/false imprisonment, aggravated assault and battery, child molestation, felony family battery, drug trafficking, possession of illegal drugs, and illegal possession of firearms. She finished her career as a felony prosecutor as a Senior Assistant District Attorney demonstrating herself to be a well-experienced trial attorney respected amongst her peers, judges, and the legal community.
Entertainment Law
In addition to her criminal law experience, Attorney Smalls has also practiced entertainment law representing individuals who are content creators, singer songwriters, video directors, magazine owners, music producers, and social media influencers. Attorney Smalls has gained a respectable reputation amongst the entertainment industry through her willingness to continue to bring promising individuals together in networking settings when she launched her L.Tonise Presents Power Entertainment Networking Project in 2016.
